At least it isn't a cigar!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5019717.post-81163506315738561222009-02-04T10:53:00.000-08:002009-02-04T10:53:00.000-08:00I think you pegged it! What a perfect, sad little ...I think you pegged it! What a perfect, sad little picture of what could be a photo. Poor guy. A non-smoking President would probably start with the present situation. . If he has to sneak a smoke, that's too bad but predictable for anybody who is not ready to quit. I remember the day my dad was on the roof sneaking a smoke on the roof. My mom looked out the door and said," Nick, are you smoking?" "NO", came from from somewhere above her head. "That's funny", she replied," because your shadow is smoking". Eventually, he quit, privately and on his own.

This habit is between him and his family. Long ago, presidents could have vices and people were more concerned with their ability to lead. No crime here, so let's let him smoke if he must and hope he has what it takes to get this country on track. Plus, I personally hope that he will listen to historians who see Afghanistan as a potential Viet Nam trap. I'll send him an ashtray if it helps. They're hard to find. .Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5019717.post-6295737570371828732009-02-04T10:01:00.000-08:002009-02-04T10:01:00.000-08:00I didn't know he smokes. Now, if you could combine the Weedies cartoon with this one--you'd really have something!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5019717.post-41729239916644706242009-02-04T09:55:00.000-08:002009-02-04T09:55:00.000-08:00Priceless, Karyl.....I can't believe he's a smoker...Priceless, Karyl.....I can't believe he's a smoker though.
He's young enough to know better.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5019717.post-51930744617953589022009-02-04T09:54:00.000-08:002009-02-04T09:54:00.000-08:00It's good, and of course, it's true. At least we FINALLY have an honest President who is man enough to admit mistakes when he makes them. Tip to our President: get a puppy or two real soon to help relieve stress !Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
