We've GOT to stop the Palin 'mentality'. Sherri Chessen, mother of six!
It should be obvious that Palin is well to the right of McCain and possibly even George W.
I'm fine when people speak about their religion, but it makes me nervous when they say they have tasking from GOD. I've seen a video of Palin speaking in her Church (in June) and she says the war in Iraq "Is a part of God's plan."
From the Catholic News: the Pope (John Paul) previously disagreed with Palin's position on the Iraq War. "When war, like the one now in Iraq, threatens the fate of humanity, it is even more urgent for us to proclaim, with a firm and decisive voice, that only peace is the way of building a more just and caring society," he said.
The Pope, in a speech to employees of Catholic television station Telepace, added, "Violence and weapons can never resolve the problems of man."
"The Pope led the Vatican in a diplomatic campaign to avert war, putting the Holy See on a collision course with Washington and its backers in the Iraq campaign."
I copied that quote from the Catholic News Website.
So... it seems maybe Sarah is even further to the right than the pope and they each seem to have their own view of God's plan. I suppose if the pope had spent billions on a military, he might feel differently.
-Nice Blogsite and hope to see you getting exposure.
I though it was funny and scary, but then I drew it.
